Vampire!

You Could Definitely Be a Vampire

Immortality, staying pretty forever, not having to get a job... you could definitely eat some flesh for these things.
It's not that you're a murderer by nature. In fact, you're probably the furthest thing from it.
However, if you woke up a vampire, you'd certainly be able to adapt and enjoy your new lifestyle.
There might not be much better than living forever, even if it means giving up your soul.

What you would like best about being a vampire: Being a total outsider

What you would like least about being a vampire: Other vampires

Sweet! I love Vampires, and have been one for Halloween, more times than I can count!

Speaking of Halloween, is anyone from Vancouver? I'm heading out there, just to go to Fright Nights. It's this awesome theme park, that is open for the weeks prior to Halloween, and only from 7pm until 11.

There's a hundred year old wooden roller coaster, that they shut off all the lights on, and you go in the dark!!

Everyone's in costume, even the workers. They come at you with chainsaws and stuff. Should be fun. I wonder how I'll react to the constant freaking out. :D

I have 2 costumes this year. I'm going to be a ghost...one that has a black outfit, which is kinda bizarre, but cool. And Mina, from Dracula. AFTER she was bitten, and in the process of turning into a Vampire.

My flight leaves for Vancouver, on Saturday. I can't wait!

Weird quizzes---How Leo am I?

Oct. 25th, 2007 | 11:15 pm
location: asement, watching 'The Ghost of Frankenstein.'

You are 47% Leo

Normally I am 75% Leo, but these were weird questions. Besides, I was only 2 days away from being whatever the next sign is. And I was induced, so I blame that. I'm only Leo because I was forced into it. :D

House Wallpaper

Dec. 20th, 2006 | 05:51 pm
location: my disaster of a room which I'm trying to remedy
mood: cheerful cheerful
music: I get along without you very well- Rosemary Clooney

I made up a quick wallpaper with a pic that was just released, from the upcoming episode of House on January 9th.

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't look.

I's got a bit of a Christmas theme. And I find the picture hilariously adorable. If you know what context it's in, you'd understand. ;)

You can check it out here: http://www.kenten.com/krista/merrychristmas.jpg

Forgive the simplicity of it, I only had a few minutes to make it, and I made it so I'd have a new background on my desktop. Thought I'd share.

I actually got the list of things not to buy men, in a foward. I rearanged it a bit, but the 'tie' one was definatly on there. ;)

Thanks to hughlaurie.net for the pic!

note: I just noticed, that the program I made this in, made it look way cooler and more neatly done. When I opened it in another it looks kinda choppy. Huh. That stinks.

note #2: Working on a remake of the wallpaper. A cleaner version.

moods and House

Oct. 17th, 2006 | 05:41 am
location: at my keyboard, duh!
mood: tired tired
music: furnace just starting up and computer humming

So I'm just figuring out the whole mood theme thing. It's cool, but more work that I expected. Yah, I know, it's nothing to those of you who have done it a million times, but I'm new to it, okay? And I'm new to Photobucket, and Flock, so I had to get to know a a few programs just to get this thing going.

Not to mention using Dial-up internet. Uploading pics to photobucket takes a bloody long time when you have dial-up. Especially when it tends to crash. Or pretend it's loading when it's actually decided to stop, some time ago.

I finally decided to give in. I bought Wilson's sweater. You know, on House, in 2 episodes in season 2, (can't remember what the second one was.) Wilson wore a gray sweater that said 'McGill,' on it i red letters. One was in that episode with the preacher kid, and 'Gracie,' Wilson's patient. The episode that Wilson is bugging House to let him in on his poker game.

Anyway, when I saw that episode, for some weird reason, that sweater stood out to me. It seemed so.. snuggly, really. It made Wilson look very huggable. So I dug around, and found that it's a Canadian University, (YAY! Wilson came to one of our universities!) and I found that sweater for sale, on their site.

http://www.mcgill.ca/bookstore/merchandise/clothing/

My brother was kind enough to order it for me, and I should be getting it before House resumes, after it's hiatus.

Yah, maybe I'm a little weird, but I don't care. I get to watch those episodes and be a silly fangirl, wearing a matching sweater to the one Wilson's wearing. ;)

Oh, and btw, I didn't know what to think when my eldest brother told me he visited McGill, a few years ago. I wasn't freaking out, but I just thought it was really cool, that he'd seen the place. And maybe a tinsy bit jealous. But not crazily so. Just a little. :)

Oh, and on an added note, it's snowing. it started last night, and hasn't stopped. It looks absolutly beautiful. There's nothing like the first snowfall of the year!

Converts and Birthday's

Aug. 27th, 2006 | 12:42 am
location: House's appartment
mood: exhausted exhausted
music: computer humming

So my brother came to visit us for a couple of weeks. He just left a few day's ago. But I am happy to report that I succeeded in converting him into a House M.D. fan. :D

My sister helped with this, but I slowly pushed it at him, until it sucked him in. Now he's working on catching up on any of the episodes he hasn't seen.

I only wish I were better at converting people in other areas that are more important.

I absolutly can not wait until House Season 3 begins. The previews for the new season look absolutly awesome!! I hope we get a little more back story.
I'd love to learn about how and when House & Wilson met, and the time line of things.
When did House begin working at PPTH?
Was it before or after Wilson began working there?
Was Cuddy the one who hired them?
Or was she not the head of the hospital yet?
I'd love to see Wilson's parents and brother(s).
I'd love for them to follow up on the mysterious missing brother of Wilson's.

As you can tell, I'm a big fan of House & Wilson. I just love their friendship! So I'd love to see more with the two of them. Downtime. You know, just hanging out, talking, or whatever.

Anyway, I celebrated my birthday just a few days ago. I know it's a little odd, but ever since I was a young kid, I wanted to be in my 30's. I didn't care about being 13, 18, or 21. I just wanted to be 30. I don't really know why, but it's stuck with me. So each birthday I have, I am happy for it, because it brings me one year closer to being the age I've always wanted to be.

Tis all for now. I'm dead tired.

Thunderstorms

Jul. 13th, 2006 | 07:05 pm
location: my room
mood: rain calms me rain calms me
music: birds and rain

So I was woken, last night, by a booming thunder storm. Lots of lightning. It started at about 4:15am and lasted about an hour.

Usually I can fall back asleep, but this one as directly overhead and extreemly loud and bright.

It started to move away, and I began drifting off, when a huge 'BOOM,' shook the house. Apparently it either came back, or there was another section to it that had been trailing behind.

I love thunderstorms, but was unusually tired last night, so I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I usually would have. Glad for the rain though. It's been too dry lately, and the farmers are at risk of loosing their crops.

And here it is again, raining nicely. Not too heavily. Just enough to make that beautiful pattering sound on the roof and on the leaves on the trees.

Missed House this week. It was supposed to be on on monday and wasn't, and I thought it was on at 10pm, tuesday, but it was on at 9pm. So I missed it, due to sitting in a theater watching Superman. I loved Superman, way more that I ever thought I would, but I was still ticked at missing House MD. I know it's only a month until the season 2 DVD's come out, but I'm addicted.

H/W fan vid

Jul. 3rd, 2006 | 11:50 pm
location: my desk
mood: calm calm
music: Suspicious Minds- Elvis Presley

Hey there,
So I set a personal record for the shortest amount of time it's taken me to create a music video. Only 2 days this time. (But I put a lot of work into it.)

It's a House/Wilson vid, based around their friendship. You can check it out on http://reemaria.tripod.com and you can look for it in the sidebar, under the 'House MD,' section.

added note to explain the ending: The end was to try to signify that as much as House tries to push Wilson away, for some reason they just can't stop being there for each other. Neither one could really end their friendship.

I hope you enjoy, and feedback is welcome!

Later Days!

House& Wilson

Jul. 2nd, 2006 | 06:37 pm
location: my desk
mood: peaceful peaceful
music: What am I living for-Soloman Burke

So I'm working on my first House MD music video. It's centered on House and Wilson. Their friendship, to be exact, and how House doesn't think Wilson should be hanging around him due to House's darkness that surrounds him.

I'm half way done the vid. Unfortunatly, it's with season 1 clips only, since season 2 isn't on DVD yet.

I only started on the vid today, so I hope to be done in the next 2 days. The benifit of being cooped up due to an alergic reaction to some unknown plant.

Bloody bother

Jun. 22nd, 2006 | 09:24 pm
location: home
mood: drained drained
music: cars and wind in the trees

Hey, I'm new here.
I hail from Alberta Canada, and the area that supports the Edmonton Oilers. :D

My knee is killing me today. The cartilage wore out when I was all of 9 years old, and it's usually not too bad unless I strain it, but lately it's acting up. I've made an appointment, and am hoping to finally go for surgery.

Anyway.

I'm a huge fan of House MD,(totally obsessed with it now. Though, I have yet to see all the episodes) Gilmore girls, Smallville, and old classics such as; The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

I'm a fan of the movies: X-Men, (visited filming locations for it) Harry Potter, and Star Wars. (got to have a tour of Skywalker Ranch last year.)

I love old movies.

I'm a fiction writer, but not the best at babbling in live journals. Hopefully that'll get better with a bit of practice.

Anything else? Hmm... I'll think about it and add more later.
